Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 17 September 2026.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt) when you use Spegla. By running a check or using any part of the service at getspegla.com, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Spegla.
We have written these Terms in plain English. Where the law requires particular wording, we use it. If something is unclear, write to support@laddro.com.
1. Who we are
Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Belziger Str. 69 to 71 10823 Berlin, Germany Handelsregister: HRB 285589 B, Amtsgericht Charlottenburg Managing Director: Oussama Bentaib Email: support@laddro.com
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference.
2. Who may use Spegla
You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and must not be barred from using the service under any law that applies to you. Spegla is a tool for checking brands, products and businesses and is not directed at children.
3. What Spegla provides
Spegla is a free AI visibility checker. You enter a brand name, a product or service category, and a market language. Spegla generates around ten questions a consumer might ask in that category, puts them to three AI models, currently OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Gemini and Perplexity's Sonar, through their official programming interfaces, analyses the answers, and produces a shareable result page.
Spegla requires no account and costs nothing today. We plan to introduce paid plans. If we do, additional terms covering payment, subscriptions and consumer withdrawal rights will apply to those plans and will be presented to you before you buy anything. Nothing you do on the free checker creates any payment obligation.
We may change, add to or withdraw features of the free service at any time.
4. What the results are, and what they are not
This section matters more than any other. Please read it.
Results are AI-generated reproductions, not our statements. A Spegla result reproduces what publicly available AI models answered when we asked them questions about a category. The statements on a result page, including statements about the brand you checked, about competitors and about any other brand or person the models mention, are generated by those third-party models. They are not factual claims made, verified or endorsed by us.
AI models can be wrong. The models can produce statements that are inaccurate, outdated, incomplete or entirely invented. A result page may over-represent, under-represent or misdescribe any brand, including yours.
API answers approximate, but do not equal, the consumer apps. We query the models through their programming interfaces. The answers these interfaces return are similar to, but not identical to, what a person would see in the ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity consumer applications, which layer their own retrieval, personalisation and interface behaviour on top of the models. A Spegla result is an approximation of AI visibility, not a measurement of what any specific user is shown.
Results are a snapshot. Models change constantly. The same check run tomorrow can produce different answers.
Do not treat a Spegla result as market research, as a factual audit, or as evidence about any brand. Do not present a result page as a statement by us about anyone.
5. Acceptable use
Spegla grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service.
You must not:
- Enter the name of a private individual, or use the service to generate content about a person rather than a brand, product or business.
- Use the service to harass, defame or disparage anyone, or to manufacture material for unfair competition, misleading advertising or comparative advertising that breaches the law.
- Present a result page as factual findings by us, or remove or obscure the context that identifies results as AI-generated.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the rate limits, including by rotating IP addresses or automating checks.
- Scrape or crawl the service by automated means.
- Upload malicious code, attempt to reach systems that are not yours, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Resell or commercially exploit the service itself without our written agreement. Using your own result pages in your own marketing is fine.
We may withhold service, remove a result page, or block access for a breach of this section.
6. Result pages
Each check produces a result page stored under a random identifier. Anyone with the link can open it. Result pages are marked so that search engines are told not to index them, but we cannot control who forwards a link once you share it.
We may take down a result page that breaches these Terms, that contains unlawful content, or where a person or brand affected by its content asks for removal and the law requires or we consider it appropriate. Result pages exist to be shared, but they remain part of our service and we do not guarantee that any result page will stay available indefinitely.
7. Intellectual property and trademarks
The service is ours. The Spegla website, software, design and branding belong to Laddro Digital UG and its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or build derivative works from the service without our written agreement.
Your inputs are yours. You keep whatever rights you have in what you type into the checker. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to process and store your inputs in order to run the check and serve the result page.
Third-party names belong to their owners. OpenAI, ChatGPT, Google, Gemini, Perplexity, Sonar, and every brand name or logo appearing in a check result are the property of their respective owners. We use them for identification only. Spegla is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.
AI output. To the extent we hold any rights in the generated questions, the analysis and the result page layout, we license them to you for viewing and sharing the result page. The underlying model answers are generated by third-party models and may not be protectable by copyright at all. You use them at your own risk.
8. Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR FREE, THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR REPRESENTATIVE OF WHAT ANY AI APPLICATION SHOWS ITS USERS, OR THAT ANY RESULT PAGE WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE.
Nothing here excludes or limits anything that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including European Union and German consumer protection law.
9. Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LADDRO DIGITAL UG AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS AND SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, FROM ANY AI GENERATED CONTENT ON A RESULT PAGE, FROM DECISIONS TAKEN IN RELIANCE ON A RESULT, OR FROM ANYTHING ELSE RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS UNDER OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100) AND THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under the law, including liability for intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit) under German law, liability for injury to life, body or health, or liability under the German Product Liability Act.
10. Indemnity
You agree to hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, from your inputs, from your distribution or presentation of result pages, and from your breach of these Terms or of any law.
This section does not apply to consumers to the extent that consumer protection law, including the German rules on standard business terms in Sections 305 to 310 BGB, does not permit it.
11. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of law rules and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
The courts of Berlin have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rule that lets you bring proceedings where you live.
We are not obliged to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body, and generally do not, unless the law requires it.
12. General
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service and replace anything said before.
Severability. If a provision is invalid, the rest stands, and the invalid provision is treated as modified only as far as needed to make it valid.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. A waiver is only effective in writing from us.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written agreement. We may transfer ours, for example in a reorganisation or a sale of the business.
Force majeure. We are not liable for a failure or delay caused by something outside our reasonable control, including natural events, war, pandemic, government action, power failure, network failure or a third party outage, including an outage or change at an AI provider.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. The current version is always published on this page, with the date at the top. Because Spegla has no accounts, we cannot notify you individually. Continuing to use Spegla after a change means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, stop using Spegla.
