Terms and Conditions
Bijgewerkt: 9 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt) when you use Spegla. By running a check, creating an account, or using any part of the service at getspegla.com, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Spegla.
We have written these Terms in plain English. Where the law requires particular wording, we use it. If something is unclear, write to support@laddro.com.
1. Who we are
Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Belziger Str. 69 to 71 10823 Berlin, Germany Handelsregister: HRB 285589 B, Amtsgericht Charlottenburg Managing Director: Oussama Bentaib Email: support@laddro.com
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference.
2. Who may use Spegla
You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and must not be barred from using the service under any law that applies to you. Spegla is a tool for checking brands, products and businesses and is not directed at children.
3. What Spegla provides
The free checker. You enter a brand name, a product or service category, and a market language. Spegla generates around ten questions a consumer might ask in that category, puts them to AI models, currently OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Gemini and Perplexity's Sonar, through their official programming interfaces, analyses the answers, and produces a shareable result page. The checker requires no account and nothing you do on it creates any payment obligation.
Accounts and tracked brands. With an account you can save brands and have Spegla check them for you on a schedule, keep the history of those checks, and compare results over time. An account with the free plan costs nothing.
Paid plans. Paid plans raise the limits of your account, such as how many brands you can track, how often they are checked, and how much history you keep. What each plan includes and costs is shown on our website and on your billing page before you pay. Section 9 governs paid plans.
We may change, add to or withdraw features of the free service at any time. For paid plans, Section 12 applies.
4. Your account
You need to give a working email address to create an account; signing in works through codes and links sent to that address or through a sign-in provider you connect. Keep access to that mailbox: it is how your account is reached and how we send you the notices these Terms describe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@laddro.com if you believe someone else has access to it.
5. What the results are, and what they are not
This section matters more than any other. Please read it.
Results are AI-generated reproductions, not our statements. A Spegla result reproduces what publicly available AI models answered when we asked them questions about a category. The statements on a result page, including statements about the brand you checked, about competitors and about any other brand or person the models mention, are generated by those third-party models. They are not factual claims made, verified or endorsed by us.
AI models can be wrong. The models can produce statements that are inaccurate, outdated, incomplete or entirely invented. A result page may over-represent, under-represent or misdescribe any brand, including yours.
API answers approximate, but do not equal, the consumer apps. We query the models through their programming interfaces. The answers these interfaces return are similar to, but not identical to, what a person would see in the ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity consumer applications, which layer their own retrieval, personalisation and interface behaviour on top of the models. A Spegla result is an approximation of AI visibility, not a measurement of what any specific user is shown.
Results are a snapshot. Models change constantly. The same check run tomorrow can produce different answers.
Do not treat a Spegla result as market research, as a factual audit, or as evidence about any brand. Do not present a result page as a statement by us about anyone.
6. Acceptable use
Spegla grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service.
You must not:
- Enter the name of a private individual, or use the service to generate content about a person rather than a brand, product or business.
- Use the service to harass, defame or disparage anyone, or to manufacture material for unfair competition, misleading advertising or comparative advertising that breaches the law.
- Present a result page as factual findings by us, or remove or obscure the context that identifies results as AI-generated.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the rate limits or plan limits, including by rotating IP addresses, automating checks, or splitting activity across accounts.
- Scrape or crawl the service by automated means.
- Upload malicious code, attempt to reach systems that are not yours, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Resell or commercially exploit the service itself without our written agreement. Using your own result pages in your own marketing is fine, and so is using Spegla to track brands you work on for clients.
We may withhold service, remove a result page, or suspend or close an account for a breach of this section.
7. Result pages
Each check produces a result page stored under a random identifier. Anyone with the link can open it. Result pages are marked so that search engines are told not to index them, but we cannot control who forwards a link once you share it.
We may take down a result page that breaches these Terms, that contains unlawful content, or where a person or brand affected by its content asks for removal and the law requires or we consider it appropriate. Result pages exist to be shared, but they remain part of our service and we do not guarantee that any result page will stay available indefinitely.
8. Intellectual property and trademarks
The service is ours. The Spegla website, software, design and branding belong to Laddro Digital UG and its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or build derivative works from the service without our written agreement.
Your inputs are yours. You keep whatever rights you have in what you type into the checker or save on your account. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to process and store your inputs in order to run checks, keep your history, and serve the result pages.
Third-party names belong to their owners. OpenAI, ChatGPT, Google, Gemini, Perplexity, Sonar, and every brand name or logo appearing in a check result are the property of their respective owners. We use them for identification only. Spegla is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.
AI output. To the extent we hold any rights in the generated questions, the analysis and the result page layout, we license them to you for viewing and sharing the result page. The underlying model answers are generated by third-party models and may not be protectable by copyright at all. You use them at your own risk.
9. Plans, term, payment and renewal
9.1 Monthly and annual plans. Spegla has a free plan and paid plans. Each paid plan is sold either monthly or annually, and the annual price is lower than twelve monthly payments. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on our website and on your billing page before you pay. Which plan and which billing period you chose is shown at checkout, on your invoice, and on your billing page at any time. Prices are quoted in euro.
9.2 Monthly plans. A monthly plan runs for one month and renews automatically for one further month at a time until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
9.3 Annual plans: term and payment up front. An annual plan has a minimum term of twelve months beginning when your purchase is confirmed. The price for all twelve months falls due and is charged at that point. The lower annual price is the consideration for the twelve month term.
9.4 Annual plans: what happens at the end of the term. An annual plan does not renew into a second fixed twelve month term. At the end of your twelve months it continues automatically as a monthly plan at our then current monthly price, and from that point it works exactly as Section 9.2 describes: you can cancel at any time and it stops at the end of the month you have paid for. We tell you what the monthly price will be at least 30 days before your term ends, under 9.9. If you would rather commit to another year at the lower annual price, you can choose an annual plan again at any time.
9.5 Annual plans: stopping the renewal. You can stop the renewal at any time, up to and including the last day of the current term, on your billing page or by a clear statement to support@laddro.com. There is no notice period. Your plan then ends when the term you have paid for ends, and you keep full access until then.
9.6 No refund of a term that has started. Cancelling during a term does not end that term and does not give you back part of what you have paid for it. This does not affect:
- the right of withdrawal in Section 10, if you are a consumer;
- your right to terminate for good cause under section 314 of the German Civil Code;
- our undertakings in Section 12 and Section 13, under which we refund the unused part of a paid term if we materially reduce the service or withdraw it;
- any mandatory legal right that cannot be excluded.
9.7 Changing plan during an annual term. You can move up to a higher plan at any time. It takes effect at once, we charge the difference for the months remaining in the current term, and the term itself does not restart. A move down to a lower plan, and a move from an annual plan to a monthly plan, take effect at the end of the current twelve month term; we do not refund the difference for that term. A move from a monthly plan to an annual plan can be made at any time and starts a new twelve month term.
9.8 Price changes. We may change prices for future terms. A price change never takes effect inside a term you have already paid for. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before the start of the next term, so that you have time to stop the renewal if you do not want to continue at the new price. The next term begins at the new price only if you have not cancelled by then.
9.9 Reminder before an annual renewal. At least 30 days before the end of a twelve month term we will email you to say that the plan is about to renew, on what date, what the price will then be, and how to stop the renewal if you do not want it.
9.10 Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, under Stripe's terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number.
9.11 Prices, VAT and invoices. The prices we show are total prices. They include VAT where VAT applies, so the amount you see is the amount you pay, and it is the same in every country. If you are a business in an EU member state other than Germany and you give us a VAT identification number that we can confirm is valid, your invoice is issued under the reverse charge procedure and shows no German VAT; the price is unchanged. We need your billing address before a subscription can start, and your VAT identification number if you want to be invoiced under the reverse charge procedure, because the law requires both your number and ours to appear on that invoice. Your invoices are available on your billing page.
10. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Spegla is sold to businesses, and the statutory right of withdrawal applies to consumers rather than to businesses. If you are nevertheless a consumer in the European Union or the wider European Economic Area, the following applies to you.
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period is 14 days from the day the contract was concluded, which is the day your purchase is confirmed.
How to withdraw. Inform us by a clear statement, for example an email or a letter sent by post, at:
Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Belziger Str. 69 to 71 10823 Berlin, Germany Email: support@laddro.com
You may use the model form in Section 11, but you do not have to; any clear statement is enough. Sending it before the 14 days expire is sufficient to meet the deadline.
When the right ends early. Spegla starts working for you as soon as your purchase is confirmed: your plan's limits apply immediately and your brands are checked on the schedule you chose. Before you pay we ask you to agree that we may begin straight away, and to confirm that you understand you lose the right of withdrawal once we have fully performed. If you do not agree to that, do not complete the purchase; write to us and we will arrange a start at the end of the 14 days instead.
If you withdraw after we have begun but before performance is complete, you owe us a proportionate amount for what you received up to the point you told us, and we refund the rest.
Effects of withdrawal. We refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you.
11. Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
To Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Belziger Str. 69 to 71, 10823 Berlin, Germany, support@laddro.com:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: a Spegla subscription.
Ordered on: Name of consumer: Address of consumer: Date: Signature (only needed if this form is sent on paper):
12. Changes to price and service
We may change prices. For a running subscription we give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the application, and the new price applies from the billing period after that notice, as Section 9.8 describes in more detail for annual plans. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
The AI providers we query change their models, their interfaces, their licences and their availability, and some may stop being usable. If a model we advertise becomes unavailable for an extended period we will tell you, and if the change materially reduces what you pay for you may cancel with effect from that point and we will refund the unused part of the period.
13. Ending this agreement
You can stop using Spegla at any time. You can delete your account, and the data on it, from your account settings; cancelling a paid plan on the billing page ends the subscription but keeps the account. If anything about closing your account does not work, write to support@laddro.com and we act on the request within 30 days.
We may suspend or close an account, without notice where the circumstances require it, if you breach these Terms, if your use puts the service or other customers at risk, if the law requires it, or if we withdraw the service. If we withdraw the service we refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
14. Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR FREE, THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR REPRESENTATIVE OF WHAT ANY AI APPLICATION SHOWS ITS USERS, OR THAT ANY RESULT PAGE WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE.
Nothing here excludes or limits anything that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including European Union and German consumer protection law, and nothing here cuts down what Sections 9, 10, 12 and 13 promise about paid plans.
15. Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LADDRO DIGITAL UG AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS AND SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, FROM ANY AI GENERATED CONTENT ON A RESULT PAGE, FROM DECISIONS TAKEN IN RELIANCE ON A RESULT, OR FROM ANYTHING ELSE RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS UNDER OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100) AND THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under the law, including liability for intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit) under German law, liability for injury to life, body or health, or liability under the German Product Liability Act.
16. Indemnity
You agree to hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, from your inputs, from your distribution or presentation of result pages, and from your breach of these Terms or of any law.
This section does not apply to consumers to the extent that consumer protection law, including the German rules on standard business terms in Sections 305 to 310 BGB, does not permit it.
17. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of law rules and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
The courts of Berlin have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rule that lets you bring proceedings where you live.
We are not obliged to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body, and generally do not, unless the law requires it.
18. General
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service and replace anything said before.
Severability. If a provision is invalid, the rest stands, and the invalid provision is treated as modified only as far as needed to make it valid.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. A waiver is only effective in writing from us.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written agreement. We may transfer ours, for example in a reorganisation or a sale of the business.
Force majeure. We are not liable for a failure or delay caused by something outside our reasonable control, including natural events, war, pandemic, government action, power failure, network failure or a third party outage, including an outage or change at an AI provider.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. The current version is always published on this page, with the date at the top. If you have an account, we tell you about a change that matters to you by email or in the application before it takes effect; for a paid plan, a change to the commercial terms follows Section 12's notice rules. Continuing to use Spegla after a change takes effect means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, stop using Spegla; Section 13 describes how to close an account.
